DIN 84 M3 × 5 is a cheese head screw with a 5 mm nominal length, on a M3 × 0.5 mm metric thread. A cylindrical head with a straight slot drive. Still common in instrument and electrical work, though pozidriv and hexalobular drives have largely replaced it in volume assembly.
